おばあちゃんは相槌を入れてくれるお話相手が欲しいようだったので
主人公はラズペリーパイを使ってシンプルに、

仕組み自体は簡単です。

まともに数えると、Bボートが必要になり、これだとすぐマイコンポートが足りなくなるので
LEDをマトリックス状に結線して、ボートの節約をしなくちゃいけないのです。
それで10×9のマトリックスにすれば、縦10本横9本の2本のボートで足ります。
このマトリックスを2個作ると、38ピン必要になるので
マトリックスの片方にカウンターICを使っても Arduino UNOじゃボートが足りないので
今回は、ボートの多いArduino MEGAがびったりです。
一度にドライブするLEDの数は、10個程度で10mAとして全部点灯すると
100mAでATmega2560のピンあたりの定格電流(40mA)を上回るから
トランジスタによるスイッチングが必要でMEGAのシールド基板にトランジスタを搭載します。
とにかくこれは配線が大変という一言に尽きます。
LEDとマトリックスの位置が一致しないので配線がかなり混線してしまいます。
とはいえ、これもまた、工作の楽しさというか、配線の色を変えたりタグつけたりして
工夫したりするのが良いですよね。
ちなみに、LEDのマトリックス回路は駅の行先表示機なんかにも使われてるので
配線の混線状態を想像するとより一層、楽しくなります。
もちろん、あれはきっとこんなに混線していないとは思います。
